Jacqueline King is a seasoned physiotherapist with over four decades of experience in sports and rehabilitation medicine across the Caribbean. She is the founder and Clinical Director of the Sports & Physical Therapy Clinic in Barbados, a leading outpatient facility known for excellence in musculoskeletal care. Jacqueline currently serves as Physiotherapist to the Barbados Cricket Association and the Barbados-based cricket franchise, providing injury management, rehabilitation, and performance support to elite athletes.
She has held physiotherapy roles with the Barbados Defence Force, Bay View Hospital, and multiple regional cricket teams, including the West Indies Men’s and Women’s teams at various international tournaments, such as the 1999 World Cup and multiple Olympic and Commonwealth Games.
Jacqueline holds a Diploma in Physical Therapy from the University of the West Indies, a transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Utica College, and certification in Lymphedema Therapy. She has further trained globally in advanced manual therapy, sports medicine, and dry needling.
A past president of the Barbados Physical Therapy Association and the Barbados Sports Medicine Association, Jacqueline currently serves as Secretary of the Barbados Sports Medicine Association and Vice Chair of the North America Caribbean Region of World Physiotherapy.
Her lifelong mission is to elevate the role of physiotherapists in both medical and public spheres through clinical excellence, leadership, and advocacy.
